What does Heart Revolution mean to you?
Personally, becoming who God made us to be free from shame and doubt and enjoying a rich relationship with Him. As a team, serving with others who seek to advance the Kingdom through freedom, truth and love.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up near Morristown, NJ and also spent a few years in Europe. I moved to White Bear Lake, MN as a senior in high school
What makes you come alive?
Nature, especially rivers. Crafts and baking. A good, deep conversation over tea. Living in community where you know each other's heart and cover each other's back. A good book, His Word being the BEST.
What was your favorite toy as a young girl?
Believe it or not--matchbox cars!!! I had all boys in my neighborhood and one brother--that might explain it! I also LOVED outdoor games--tag, kick the can, kick ball
What was your favorite class in school?
Science--then in college, microbiology. I was awed by the creativity in the micro world and how it glorifies God.
What is the best way to get from point A to point B?
Whatever is fastest, although I'm learning to enjoy the "scenic" route and let God take me on tangents--as I am realizing life is a journey and not a destination.
Where do you do your best thinking?
In my living room in front of a fire, curled up on the couch at 5am--I'm a morning person and with 6 other people in the house, it’s the quietest in the wee hours of daybreak.
What is your all time favorite movie?
Anne of Green Gables--I love how she(Anne with an "e") knew who she was, stood out in the crowd and influenced all who knew her. Pride and Prejudice is up there too.
Where are you most content and relaxed?
Drinking tea, outside in a remote spot or whenever someone rubs my head be it my husband or my hairstylist.
What would surprise people if they knew this about you?
I was deathly afraid of public speaking--in fact I would pretend to be sick so I could stay home from school so I wouldn't have to do those dreaded class presentations.
What gadget can you not live without?
Gadgets?? I'm still pretty gadget inept. I do like my cell phone though!!!
