What does Heart Revolution mean to you?
It’s an opportunity to enter the battle for transforming lives and to step into my peculiar role in it.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in LeCenter, Minnesota.
What makes you come alive?
Sunrises, the woods, rock climbing, smoking a cigar with an old friend, re-experiencing the beauty of life through my kid’s eyes.
What was your favorite toy as a young boy?
Anything that looked like a gun.
What was your favorite class in school?
The ones cancelled due to snow.
What is the best way to get from point A to point B?
Send an email to point B explaining why you couldn’t make it, then cracking a cold one and enjoying a Cohiba in a quiet corner of the yard.
What’s been your favorite of all your jobs?
I was a mink-skinner once and have done a lot of construction, but I’ve spent my entire adult career writing software and still enjoy it.
Where do you do your best thinking?
In the shower.
What is your all time favorite movie?
Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I never seem to grow tired of them.
Where are you most content and relaxed?
Walking around the woods in the cool of the morning while the sun is rising.
What would surprise people if they knew this about you?
My calm exterior masks a seething pot of boiling emotion below the surface.

My cordless dril.
