After having our lives irreversibly changed at similar events in Colorado lead by the original Ransomed Heart/Wild At Heart team, we knew we had to see this message of freedom multiplied by bringing this experience to men and women in Minnesota and the Midwest region. We are convinced that God wants to awaken the hearts of men and women, show them the path of Life and teach them how to fight for their own freedom and for the freedom of others in their lives and also to live a life of passion, meaning and adventure.

David has lived in Minnesota for 20 years and is married (to Jan) & father of a blended family of three sons & one daughter. Founder of Heart Revolution, David's background and training includes participation in many John Eldredge/Ransomed Heart team events, including their Advanced Leadership training, and has served in various supporting roles for them (www.ransomedheart.com). David has also helped host men’s events in British Columbia, Canada. David's passion is to wake men & women up to experience life-impacting, catalystic events that bring "irreversible change" to their lives just like he has experienced. Terry has a very intriguing background and one of the most interesting life stories around. He has worked as a steeplejack (you know those crazy guys who climb the towers to change the light bulbs at the very top), a janitor, a factory worker, a cross-country trucker, a small business owner and is now a successful local developer and, on the side, is the guy who sets up the teams' locker room for NFL games at the Dome. Terry is married (to Melissa) with two sons and a daughter and is a talented musician. Terry's life was impacted thru a Wild at Heart boot camp and has attended their Advanced Leadership training. Terry's perspective and ability to jump right past the b.s. brings a unique, contagious enthusiasm to the team. He serves in critical support roles for Heart Revolution and can often be found sharing some of his story at our events (as well as his affection for a really good cigar around a fire). Paul, our resident Audio/Visual man, has a heart and a passion that is as large as his 6 foot plus frame. Paul is married (to Loni) and the father of a teenage daughter and two sons (and one daughter-in-law) and although he can usually be found behind the sound board at Heart Revolution events, he is our eyes and ears for more than music and movie clips... he can see the needs of others and understands how to proceed. With the hands of a servant and the heart of a warrior, Paul has a deep enthusiasm for reaching the lives of men through Heart Revolution. Paul also serves as a frequent presenter at our events. Tom has been married (to Dee) for nearly three decades and they have two beautiful daughters. Tom owned a lighting company for 20 years and over the last 10 years was a talented videographer with his own company, Broadsword Services. Tom has enthusiastically led many men through the Wild at Heart DVD Series both in his home as well as at his church. Tom ventured to Colorado alone to attend a Ransomed Heart/Wild at Heart boot camp, which became another pivotal point in his life. Tom's passion and calling continues to be... to lead men to freedom- to "heal the broken-hearted and set the captives free." Randy is a Minnesota native and has been married (to Lisa) for 27+ years and has two beautiful daughters. In 2003, Randy experienced God in a way he never imagined during a boot camp event and ever since has been on a search to find other men that have a hunger for discovering passionate and free Life. Over the past several years, Randy has co-led several small groups and coached many "like-hearted" men to walk together in this journey. Randy has a passionate love for Life and helping others discover and then live in their true identity and purpose. Currently residing in Land O’ Lakes, Florida, Jeff has been married to his forgiving wife, Kim, for 20 years. They have 3 teenage children: Nathan, Joshua and Sarah. Jeff honed his presentation skills early by being an entertainer with a touring company performing in front of the worlds toughest audience, high schoolers. He has been a business consultant for such companies as Baskin-Robbins, Blockbuster Entertainment and Dunkin’ Donuts. For the past 12 years, he’s employed by Books Are Fun, holding many positions, including his current (and favorite) position as National Trainer. God grabbed his heart when he first read the book Wild at Heart in 2002. Since then, Jeff has not only lived it but presented the message to many groups himself. Married to David, Jan is a Minnesota native and founding member of Heart Revolution. Mother to two of her own plus step-mom to two of David’s, Jan is an avid reader, accomplished horseback rider (she chases cattle with her husband in a western rodeo-style event called Team Sorting) and is a gifted event planner and occasional speaker. She serves in multiple critical administrative capacities for Heart Revolution events and has shared her story at our events. Learn more about Jan HERE. Jen is a Minnesota native and has been married to her hero, Mike, for almost 10 years. They have a beautiful two-year old son who keeps them real! Jen is a new addition to the Heart Revolution team and her glory for the heart message arises from two key themes: standing for the freedom of the hearts of all people and experiencing intimately the Transforming Love of the Father. Jen knows the battle is very real- having experienced on her own walk that we often don’t see the prison for our hearts and prefer the comfort of it to the uncertainty and cost of being truly “free.” Further, that we often have a very tainted, broken and disfigured view of God, which keeps us from receiving and walking in His transforming Love, Power and Grace. She is a fierce and tender warrior for opening people’s eyes and hearts to these two truths and encouraging them to walk gloriously into the victory that is available there. Janelle grew up in New Jersey most of her younger years and was transplanted to Minnesota in 1986. She is married to Chuck and has five children ranging from preschool age to teens. For the past ten years, she has passionately home educated her “tribe” and had no idea that God was using that experience to build her leadership, public speaking, event planning and theater production skills that are now being used in the area of helping lead women’s events. More important than that, however, Janelle’s personal “wilderness” journey has helped her experience the freedom and joy of a heart fully alive, most notably through a Colorado women’s event named Captivating. She is excited to share the life-transforming message of living from a healed heart and being God’s “beloved” to other women through small groups and events. Chuck is a Minnesota native, married to Janelle, and father of five awesome children. He became a follower of Jesus in college and has been involved in leading some type of small group ever since, including leading a cell church (house church) group in his home. In 2005 Chuck attended a Colorado Ransomed Heart Boot Camp and was irrevocably changed from the inside out and is filled with a passion to lead others into the same freedom and joy he’s experienced. His other passions include rock climbing, Tae Kwon Do, and exploring the beauty of God’s creation with his kids. Learn more about Chuck HERE. In addition to the people above, we have an outstanding group of individuals who take care of a myriad of details who serve on our Event Support Team. The key people include Dee McLellan in addition to several other key allies. We couldn't do what we do without them.
Event Crews
In addition to the “official” team, for every event, we offer several interested and available alumni a spot on the Event Crew and in return give a discount on their registration fee. This crew helps out with critical activities from parking assistance, loading/unloading gear, setting up/manning our Resource Table, and much more AND most are usually able to fully participate in an event (although some areas are not).
