Boot Camp was a rescue mission. To get you across the "beaches of Normandy" where most men lie dying, wounded, afraid, alone... taken out. Now you find yourself on the beachhead. Sure you made it across the beach, amidst enemy fire, and that is no small task, but now you stand at the cusp of the daunting task of reclaiming the "heart land" that lies ahead. Territory that is still ripe with traps, dangers, enemy fire, wrong paths and fearful places. You will need your whole heart for the journey that lies ahead not to mention a bunch of training and a band of warriors to help guide you. Add to that your realization that making it across the beach requires of you a most noble endeavor... rescuing others still pinned down and bleeding on the sand.
That is what this Advanced is all about. To train you, equip you, show you the path to deeper healing, greater freedom- for you AND so you can more effectively go after your wife, kids, friends, brothers... others.
This is not a typical men's retreat and this is not a rehash of Boot Camp. We know that God has more to say and do for the men that are in your phase of the journey.
Our Advanced Camps are less frequent than boot camps and are held as the need and interest is determined.
ADVANCED ATTENDANCE DETAILS:
- You must have attended at least one boot or base camp. This could be a previous Heart Revolution event or one of John Eldredge's Ransomed Heart boot camps.
- We recommend, not require, that you have attended two previous camps and have been working through and living out what you have learned for at least one year.
- We recommend that you read the book Way of the Wild Heart and Waking the Dead by John Eldredge before attending.
- Due to the more intense nature of the event, attendance is more limited than at Boot or Base Camp.
- Due to the restricted attendance, no walk-ins will be permitted.
- Due to the nature of the material presented, men who have not completed a boot or base camp will not be permitted to attend.
